Overland to Battambang, grab wonderful local sightseeing along with unique Bamboo train before soaking in Angkor land to explore the magnificent Angkor Wat followed by sunrise and other amazing Angkorian temples, experience rural village with oxcart ride and spend half day with lovely elephants at Kulen Forest. To Myanmar, we visit Yangon Capital dotting with historical places, French colonial buildings and the impressive Shwedagon Pagoda then fly to Old Bagan, explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site dotting with numerous ancient temples, Buddhist pagodas and monasteries were built between the 11th and 13th centuries, and visit the fascinating Mandalay, the former Royal Palace followed by great history, other incredible temples and beautiful surroundings of Mandalay Hills and Irrawaddy River.

Day 1: Saigon – Arrival
International flight is NOT included in the tour price.
Our friendly team (guide and driver) will welcome you at the arrival gate upon your arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport then transfers to a reserved hotel for check in and simply enjoy yourselves free time at hotel or explore central city by your own.

Day 2: Cu Chi Tunnels & Saigon City Tour

Enjoy Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon, we return for guided Saigon City along with War Remnants Museum that you can witness Indochina war history while browsing various items relating Vietnam War, visit the fascinating architecture of Reunification Palace which was the former workplace and residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam, admired by French colonial buildings of Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office, we then stroll at Jade Emperor Pagoda before go shopping at the famous Ben Thanh market where you observe trading exchanges and you can’t absolutely ignore to purchase some souvenirs.

Day 4: Cai Rang Floating Market, Tra Su Cajuput Forest & Chau Doc

Next, we continue our journey to explore the picturesque Tra Su Cajuput Forest which is well-known its rich typical ecosystem of Mekong Delta, a home to significant birds and wildlife and it’s the main attractive flooded forest destination for nature lovers. We enjoy Vietnamese lunch is provided at a local restaurant.
Once arrived, we process to take a local boat to carefully observe the surrounding, truly feel the tranquility while our boat slowly slides into beautiful lush Melaleuca forest and hear birds singing. We will spend our value time on the bird watching tower to overview the marvelous panoramic landscape and take as many as photos you like before returning to our awaiting car/minivan then drive to Chau Doc town and check in at a booked hotel.
Note: If we still have time, we will visit Tinh Bien market with interesting trade activities and you may get some value items. OR visit Thoai Ngoc Hau Tomb along with his great work record when he was a Martial General of the Nguyen Dynasty.

Day 5: Chau Doc - Speed Boat to Phnom Penh & Phnom Penh Tour
Breakfast is served at hotel. Check out then our team transfers you to Chau Doc pier for speed boat departure at 7.30am to Phnom Penh Capital in Cambodia. The boat excursion takes approx. 5 ½ – 6 hours and you will be friendly greeted by our Cambodia team when you arrived in Phnom Penh then transfers to a booked hotel for check in.

Evening, we head to Phnom Penh’s Riverside then get on board with a welcome cocktail while the boat is slowly cruising along Mekong & Tonle Bassac, watch the nice sunset fading at horizon before Western set dinner (or buffet) is started to serve, unwind yourself with colorful Phnom Penh nightlights. Disembark and return hotel.

Day 6: Phnom Penh Tour by Cyclo & Drive to Battambang by Private Car/Minivan

After lunch break, we drive with 6 hours to Battambang Province. One the way, we stop at Kampong Chhnang’s local villages where we observe Silver Smith Making Village and handicrafts, and learn from people producing pottery to generate profit to support their daily life. Arrived in Battambang, check in and have own free time.

Day 7: Battambang – Bamboo Train & The Surroundings

Afternoon, continue our journey to visit traditional wooden house which was built a century ago during French Era and have a short tour that reveals a very interesting background regarding to its history. We will stroll at Battambang winery (with grape wine tasting) before heading to Phnom Sampov where you enjoy the active walking at the top of the mountain to witness the killing caves and visit hidden caves of Battambang. Next, we wait at hillside to watch thousands of bats flying back to their caves in the red sky while the sun is setting down. Return hotel for refreshment and go out for dinner at a selected nice garden restaurant.

Day 8: Battambang Highlights & Drive to Siem Reap

Return hotel for check out. We drive (3 hours) to Siem Reap Province, we will stop at Angkor Silk Farm and its famous workshop where you can observe local people produce the finest silk products, weaving activities, learn how they feed and take care the worms, and you will see various excellent silk woven items which you can purchase for family or friends. One the way, we stop at a road side for chances to dare of sampling deep-fried crispy insects including crickets, grasshoppers etc.
Arrived in Siem Reap, check in at a booked hotel and simply have your own free time.

Day 9: Full Day Guided Angkor Discovery

Enjoy tasty Khmer set lunch at a selected local restaurant near temples.
Afternoon, continue to witness the marvelous Angkor Wat – the world’s heritage listed by UNESCO in 1992 and the largest unrivaled monument in the world. Built by Suryavarman II in 12th Century, Angkor Wat is considered as one of the top destinations in Asia and is a must-see in your lifetime. Learning from your tour guide the amazing history, its ancestral incredible, architectural masterpieces and the finest carvings dates back to the Khmer Empire when it dominated the largest parts of Southeast Asia.
Note: Visiting beautiful sunset (free of charge) is available at Phnom Bakheng, please speak to our tour guide to manage this for you. This is a hiking up (Approx. 25 minutes/way) to the hill and it’s always touristy or skip it if you feel tired.

Day 10: Sunrise Angkor Wat, Beautiful Banteay Srei & Angkorian Temples

Afternoon, we have a short visit at palm sugar village and other various local handicraft, continue to visit some temples within small/grand circuit including Banteay Kdei, Ta Keo, Preah Khan (Royal Sword), Neak Pean (Coiled Serpents) etc. You can skip a few temples if you feel tired then return hotel for refreshment.
Evening, transfer to have delicate Khmer set dinner followed by traditional Apsara dance performance at a selected local restaurant.

Day 11: Unique Village Experience & Phare Cambodian Circus

Afternoon, we say goodbye to the host then we make our way back to the hotel but we will pay worth visit to rattan basket weaving in another village. The rest of the afternoon is free at your own leisure.
Evening, transfer to have tasty Khmer set dinner at famous Chanrey Tree, a beautiful setting with garden by the riverside before we’re going to watch unique Phare Circus performance (Seat B) which is unlike any other circus in the world: theater, story, dance, high-energy music and circus arts

Day 12: Kulen Elephant Forest (share tour)

Once at the reserve, you will spend time to learn from the local tour guide to get understanding the way of elephants live, play and roam as well as knowing how they are being well taken care mostly through their natural habitat, observing their relationships and behaviors. At noon, retire to base camp and enjoy a traditional meal before heading back to Siem Reap with the arrival around 2.00pm that our driver will pick you up at dropping point then transfers back to hotel.
The rest of the afternoon is reserved as free and easy for your own free time.

Day 14: Full Day Guided Yangon City Tour

Afternoon, continue our happy sightseeing to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda that houses huge significant reclining Buddha with traditionally carved sacred symbols at the feet and is one of the most well-reserved pagodas in Myanmar. End the worth day at the most prominent Shwedagon Pagoda which is considered as a magnificent gilded stupa that houses sacred relics of four Buddhas, it dominates the skyline of Yangon City, and impressively attracts pilgrims and tourists from around the world.

Day 15: Yangon – Flight to Bagan & Amazing Bagan’s Temple Tour

Bagan is an ancient city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Myanmar, where thousands of Buddhist temples, pagodas and monasteries were built between the 11th and 13th centuries. It is a sacred and spectacular place which can’t be missed out when visiting Myanmar.
Upon your arrival, our experienced team (with welcome signage) will greet you at the arrival gate then transfers to a booked hotel for check in.
After check in, we begin with a visit an elevated temple from where you will have a panoramic view of the magnificent plains of Bagan then visit the golden Shwezigon Pagoda – a Buddhist stupa was built by King Anawrahta and King Kyansittha in the 11th century, and it is a prototype of Burmese stupas and enshrines relics of the Buddha and three previous Buddhas. Followed by the well-preserved frescoes of Gubyaukgyi Temple’s walls, we’ll witness 13th century-built Htilominlo Temple along with a three-story red brick structure with fine plaster carvings and murals. Continue our journey to observe a traditional lacquerware workshop where you browser the best-known Myanmar handicrafts in Bagan before go to unlock Ananda Temple emerges its beautiful Mon-style architecture, along with two unique previous Buddha images. With a nice experience on horse cart ride passing several interesting Thatbyinnyu, Dhammayangyi and Sulamani Temples toward a suitable higher spot on a temple to watch the spectacular sunset over the ancient plains of Bagan.
Return hotel for refreshment before our team take you to enjoy tasty dinner at Sanon Restaurant (or similar).

Day 16: The Rest of Lovely Bagan

Afternoon, we continue our worth day to the less touristy Minnanthu village where we’ll discover several attractive temples which were built in 13th century including Paya Thone Zu, Lemyethna and Nandamannya temple admired by its the finest murals and frescoes. Our amazing day will be followed by boarding a boat cruise which slowly navigates along the Irrawaddy River to let you enjoy the tranquility, see the lifestyle of the fishermen and riverside villagers, and with beautiful background of Bagan dotting with temple’s towers.

Day 17: Bagan to Mandalay & Mandalay Highlights

Afternoon, we go out to visit beautiful Mahamuni Temple which is one of the famous temples as well as a significant pilgrimage site in Myanmar, built in 18th century and significantly houses large Buddha statue. Followed by Kuthodaw Pagoda who has earned the title “World’s Biggest Book” because of its impressive 729 marble stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures, we continue to witness a historic Shwenandaw Buddhist monastery admired by its intricately carved Teak wood of walls and roofs which truly enhances the artistic styles of original Royal Palace.
Resume to the final stop at the summit of Mandalay Hill we will capture the spectacular sunset over Irrawaddy River and nice view of Mandalay City.

Day 18: Indulgent Mandalay Discovery

Enjoy lunch at a selected local restaurant.
Afternoon, return and drive to the former capital of the Sagaing Region which is a home to 3,000 monks, Buddhist temples and hundreds of meditation centers, and dotting with remarkable white-golden stupas. We cross a bridge over the Irrawaddy River to where we will stroll to unlock several main temples on Sagaing Hill included Swan Oo Pon Nya Shin and U Min ThoneSae that features numerous Buddha images. Next, we visit the typical Burmese market – the less touristy local market where we’ll observe a lot of wide ranges of local products and various handicrafts, and learn a process of making pottery at a pottery village.
At the end of the trip, we make the way to walk over the 200-year-old U Bein Bridge which is known as the longest Teak wooden bridge in the world, the nice spot you can browser beautiful surroundings or wait to watch the fabulous sunset over Taungthaman Lake.
